The Wolverine has just landed its latest trailer, and its a good one! It begins very heavy on drama as we see Logan having nightmares of killing Jean Grey (Famke Janssen), and his pain and suffering seem to be continuing throughout the trailer. I think he screams out in pain the word “NO!!!!” at least twice!

Then there is the action, and there’s tons of the stuff. From ninjas to other Japanese warriors, to plenty of cool fight stuff we have seen before, some amazing sword play at work, and a final moment where we get a very nice look at the massive Silver Samurai. Yep, this trailer has everything you want to see, and more, so check it out at the bottom of this post.

Directed by James Mangold, The Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman as the metal clawed hero, and joining him will be Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, and Rila Fukushima.

The Wolverine arrives in UK cinemas 25th July 2013.

Synopsis:

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
