Michael Caine has worked with director Christopher Nolan on all three of his Batman films, plus he appeared in both The Prestige and Inception. Caine is now set to work once again with Nolan for a sixth time, this time on Nolan’s upcoming sci-fi, Interstellar. This will be the pairs sixth collaboration together, and the most times an actor has worked with Nolan.
Deadline reports that Caine joins the already cast Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain. As we said earlier this week, details on the story of Interstellar are being heavily guarded, and all we know at this time is the details released in a press released a few months ago, details which you can read below.
“INTERSTELLAR” will be released beginning November 7, 2014, in theaters and IMAX®.
Directed and written by Academy Award-nominee Nolan (“INCEPTION,” “THE DARK KNIGHT RISES”), “INTERSTELLAR” is based on a script by Jonathan Nolan. The film will be produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan of Syncopy Films and Obst of Lynda Obst Productions. Kip Thorne will executive produce. The film will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.
