‘World War Z’: We have three TV spots, new images and a new poster

So, Paramount are ramping up the promotional activity of their new film, World War Z, and I am not complaining one bit. I can’t wait for this, and right now I cannot get enough of it.

Revealed over the past day or so are three new TV spots for the film, all of which you can enjoy below, plus a small amount of new images and what is supposed to be a new poster. Now, the TV spots and images I can handle as new stuff, but the poster? I disagree that it is new, so I have included the new poster, plus a poster released sometime ago for comparison. They look the same, so see if you can spot the difference.

The film is based on the novel written by Max Brooks, and the screenplay was written by Matthew Michael Carnahan and J. Michael Stracynski and the film stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Elyes Gabel and Julia Levy-Boeken. Brad Pitt’s own production company Plan B are involved in this epic tale of the greatest Zombie war the world has ever known. Filming in locations all over the world, the film will take place ten years after the war and survivors are asked to re-live their accounts of what happened to them.

World War Z, directed by Marc Forster, is due to arrive in UK cinemas June 21st 2013.

Synopsis:

The story is said to revolve around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen. The plot is a bit interesting because the Max Brooks best-selling novel World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War which the movie is based on, dealt with the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse. Hopefully this approach will work for the film.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
