Exciting news ahead as it looks like director Sam Mendes (Skyfall) will not only direct Bond 24, but also he is now likely to direct Bond 25!! Unofficially confirmed by ShowBiz411, after exhaustive negotiations and probably a lot more £ signs, Mendes has agreed to producing the next installment, and possibly another on top, despite him wanting to keep his theatre career alive, with commitments already in place in London. Reportedly, as Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli’s conveyed their willingness to wait for him, eager to have him on board, he changed his mind. The Bond team have said that they are prepared to postpone production for the next Bond movie until he is available.
Mendes was quoted, in March, saying that he felt “very honoured to have been part of the Bond family” and that he “very much” hoped to work with the 007 team again.
Skyfall, the 23rd official Bond film, earned more than $1.1bn (£727m).
