The latest clip from World War Z has arrived, and just in case we didn’t already know he was in it, Brad Pitt once again features in the clip. The scene see’s Pitt as Gerry Lane trying to get his family to the safety of the helicopter, and you kinda wish for an Arnie “ged to da choppaaaa!!!” to be thrown in at some point. Check out the clip at the bottom of this post.
The clip also informs us that advance tickets are now on sale.
The film is based on the novel written by Max Brooks, and the screenplay was written by Matthew Michael Carnahan and J. Michael Stracynski and the film stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale, Elyes Gabel and Julia Levy-Boeken. Brad Pitt’s own production company Plan B are involved in this epic tale of the greatest Zombie war the world has ever known.
World War Z, directed by Marc Forster, is due to arrive in UK cinemas June 21st 2013.

Synopsis:
The story is said to revolve around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen. The plot is a bit interesting because the Max Brooks best-selling novel World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War which the movie is based on, dealt with the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse. Hopefully this approach will work for the film.
