Dennis Lliadis, the man who directed the remake of The Last House on the Left in 2009, is finally making his return to horror after some four years. His new supernatural terror tale, Plus One (or + One) has had some very positive reviews after playing the SXSW Festival earlier this year. IFC Midnight have now acquired US distribution rights for the film.

Dennis Lliais directs from a script written by Bill Gullo (which is based on Lliadis’ story), and The Master’s director of photography, Mihai Malmaire Jr, will be bringing his skills too. The cast includes Rhys Wakefield (The Purge), Logan Miller (The Bling Ring), Ashley Hinshaw and Natalie Hall.

Three college friends go to the biggest party of the year, each looking for something different: love, sex and a simple human connection. When a supernatural phenomenon disrupts the party, it lights a fuse on what will become the strangest night anyone has ever seen. As the three friends struggle to find what they’re looking for, the party quickly descends into a chaos that challenges if they can stay friends or if they can even stay alive.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
