A series of images of the upcoming remake of Godzilla have appeared online, courtesy of Just Jared. Check them out below.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and co-star Bryan Cranston can be seen dressed in what looks like homemade uniforms that are taped at the wrists and ankles, which gives further clout to the original radioactive story which Godzilla was based. Apart from that, there isn’t much else on what the plot might be except for the obvious!!
All we have really seen so far is a lot of military videos and set photos from the film, plus the recently released shots of a fishing village with a very large green screen in use. Now an image of Cranston in set has been Tweeted by the Father of the newest cast member. C.J. Adams (The Odd Life of Timothy Green, Dan in Real Life) has been cast in Godzilla as Cranston’s son, and it was Adams’ Father who Tweeted the below picture, with the message: ”My boy CJ’s new movie dad!”
Gareth Edwards is directing the film from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont and Dave Callaham. Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are serving as executive producers alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche are starring in the film, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston.
Slated to open on May 16, 2014, the film is expected to be presented in 3D.
