‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ pushed back nearly a year!

In some incredibly disappointing news, Robert Rodriguez’ sequel, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, has had a devastating release date change. Originally due for release on October 4th this year, the film has now had a major delay and will now hit cinemas on August 22nd 2014.

No reasons were given for the change, but sadly this means we will have to wait almost a whole extra year to see it. However, we do still have Rodriguez’ other sequel, Machete Kills, to look forward to in September.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For boasts an impressive cast which includes original cast members Academy Award® nominee Mickey Rourke as “Marv,” Jessica Alba as “Nancy,” Bruce Willis as Hartigan, Rosario Dawson as “Gail” and Jaime King as “Goldie/Wendy” with new cast members Academy Award® nominee Josh Brolin as “Dwight,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt as “Johnny,” Dennis Haysbert as “Manute,” Christopher Meloni as “Mort,” Jeremy Piven as “Bob,” Jamie Chung as “Miho,” Ray Liotta as “Joey,” Juno Temple as “Sally,” Julia Garner as “Marcy”, Eva Green as “Ava Lord” and Stacy Keach as “Wallenquist”

Production is underway at Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Texas.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR weaves together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales in which the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR was developed by Frank Miller based upon his graphic novel, with a screenplay by Miller.
