‘The World’s End’ reveals nostalgic new trailer

A new-ish trailer has landed for comedy The World’s End, and we have it right here for you. It is exactly the same as the previous full length trailer, however there is an added piece of nostalgia in this newer, loner trailer.

The first thirty seconds is made up of a recap of the first two films in the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and set up the third film nicely. It is also worth noting that Vue Cinemas in the UK will be screening special back to back showings of all three films in the trilogy on July 18th, and the first two films will run up to midnight, followed by a midnight showing of The World’s End.

They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
