After storming the horror genre with his terrific remake/reboot/ whatever of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead, director Fede Alvarez has announced his next project. Surprisingly though, it is not the Evil Dead sequel we are all expecting, and instead will be a sci-fi film called Machina.
Alvarez will be writing the script with his writing partner on Evil Dead, Rodo Sayagues, and Alvarez is also attached to direct. Plot details are being heavily guarded right now so unfortunately that is all we can tell you right now.
However, to add to this brief post, the short film Panic Attack, which was directed by Alvarez and caught the attention of Sam Raimi for the Evil Dead reboot, is now available to view, and you can watch it next!
