New featurette for ‘The World’s End’ looks at the “genius” of director Edgar Wright

A brand new featurette has been unveiled by Yahoo UK for Edgar Wright’s final film in the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, The World’s End. Here we see cast and crew discussing director Edgar Wright’s talents, with a few using the word “genius” to describe the mans talents. All are very positive about how well Wright has put this film together, and hearing these kind words will no doubt confirm to Marvel fans that Wright is the right man for the job of directing Ant-Man too.

The World’s End arrives in UK cinemas on July 19th, however there will also be a special screening of the entire Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy on Thursday 18th July, finishing off at midnight with a showing of The World’s End. Ticket information is available here

Directed and co-written by Edgar Wright, and co-written by Simon Pegg, the film stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman and Eddie Marsan.

The World’s End arrives in UK cinemas 19th July 2013.

Synopsis:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.
