If you have any doubts about just how tense sci-fi chiller Europa Report will be, then may I suggest you check out the nail biting clip at the bottom of this post.

The clip features two astronauts, one of them played by Sharlto Copley, attempting to return to their ship, but Hydrazine on Copley’s suit is causing some issues with being allowed back on. Naturally decisions have to be made, but nothing will prepare you for what is about to go down. This is intense stuff, and the second clip from the film that has delivered edge of your seat thrills. So far, Europa Report is looking awesome!

Directed by Sebastian Cordero, Europa Report has been written by Philip Gelatt, and stars Sharlto Copley, Michael Nyqvist, Daniel Wu, Christian Camargo, Karolina Wydra, Isiah Whitlock Jr and Anamaria Marinca.

Europa Report arrives in US cinemas August 2nd.

Synopsis:

EUROPA REPORT follows a contemporary mission to Jupiter’s moon Europa to investigate the possible existence of alien life within our solar system. When unmanned probes suggest that a hidden ocean could exist underneath Europa’s icy surface and may contain single-celled life, Europa Ventures, a privately funded space exploration company, sends six of the best astronauts from around the world to confirm the data and explore the revolutionary discoveries that may lie in the Europan ocean. After a near-catastrophic technical failure that leads to loss of communication with Earth and the tragic death of a crewmember, the surviving astronauts must overcome the psychological and physical toll of deep space travel, and survive a discovery on Europa more profound than they had ever imagined.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
