The World’s End is getting nearer, and to give the film a little push we have two new TV spots and a rather cool featurette to share with you. The TV spots are simply a rehash of the main trailer, but they do announce that tickets are now available to book.

The featurette is much more interesting, and is presented a a fake tourism video based on the garden town of New Haven. Shown as a advertisement for the town, a voiceover talks about the lovely gardens and roundabouts before explaining what the Golden Mile is, a pub crawl of twelve pubs finishing with The World’s End. Check out all the videos below.

Directed and co-written by Edgar Wright, and co-written by Simon Pegg, the film stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman and Eddie Marsan.

The World’s End arrives in UK cinemas 19th July 2013.

Synopsis:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
