‘[Rec] 4: Apocalypse’ reveals bloody new image!

You’ve got to hand it to Filmax International and Jaume Balaguero, they have certainly been busy keeping us updated on the production of [Rec]4: Apocalypse. We saw the first image a few weeks ago, and we have also been shown two behind the scenes featurettes, and with the film about to wrap its shoot on a Russian ship, we now have a bloody new image to show you.

Balaguero said in a featurette released two days ago that shooting was now complete on the Russian ship, and the crew were heading back to Barcelona to complete the highly anticipated horror. Below you will find an image from the ship, and it is very nasty indeed. I like how this film is looking!

Directed and co-created by Jaume Balaguero, [REC]4 Apocalypse will complete the franchise.  The film is due for release on 10th October 2014 in Spain. Release dates for elsewhere are still to be confirmed.

Angela Vidal (Manuela Velasco), the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don’t know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
