Remember last year during the build up to American Horror Story: Asylum, we got excited as the first teaser trailers landed, but then after about the 100th clip, it got a little too much. Well, with the third series set to begin on FX on October 9th, we now have two months worth of these teaser trailers to come, plenty of time to match the onslaught we saw last year!

The first teaser trailer (called Detention) for Ryan Murphy’s new series is creepy to the extreme, and features a brief piece of sinister singing of “House of the Rising Sun”. The lyrics, “there is a house in New Orleans” is very fitting, as the new series is set around a Coven of Witches in Salem doing battle with Voodoo Witches in New Orleans. Set over multiple time periods, the show boasts two brand new big name stars: Kathy Bates plays real life serial killer Madam LaLaurie, a woman who kept slaves captive in her home in the 1800s, and Angela Bassett plays famed voodoo practitioner Marie Laveau.

Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s awesome series will continue with American Horror Story: Coven, and the first three dates and title cards for the episodes have been revealed, and they are as follows:

Episode 3.01 – “Bitchcraft” (09-Oct-2013)
Episode 3.02 – “Boy Parts” (16-Oct-2013)
Episode 3.03 – “Replacements, The” (23-Oct-2013)

The third season of the popular horror series will star Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Jessica Lange, Alexandra Breckenridge, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Jamie Brewer, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe, Angela Bassett, Patti Lupone, and Denis O’Hare.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
