‘I Spit on Your Grave 2’ reveals final, full length trailer

Anchor Bay have released the final trailer for director Steven R. Monroe’s sequel, I Spit on Your Grave 2, and finally we get a full two minute trailer to enjoy!

There is plenty of nasty stuff in the trailer, and newcomer Jemma Dallender appears to be loving every sadistic minute. The trailer did not go down too well at the recent Film Four Fright Fest, but I am still excited about seeing this.

Featuring British newcomer Jemma Dallender (Community) in the lead role, who follows in the footsteps of Camille Keaton from the 1978 original and Sarah Butler from 2010’s remake, I Spit On Your Grave 2 is certain to propel the franchise to new levels of fear when it arrives in UK cinemas this Autumn.

I Spit on Your Grave 2 arrives on DVD & Blu-ray in the UK on October 7th.

Steven R.Monroe, who successfully brought the remake to the screen back in 2010, once again returns for the sequel based on a script from SAW IV writer Neil Elman.

Anchor Bay UK’s Marketing Manager Thom Leaman comments: “After launching the 2010 I Spit On Your Grave at FrightFest, there was only one place and one group of fans that we wanted to turn to for a suitable launch pad for the sequel in the UK. I Spit On Your Grave 2 is a rarity in the film world, a sequel – a horror sequel at it – that improves upon the original, and we can’t wait to unleash it on UK audiences.”

Meir Zarchi’s original became one of the most controversial films of all time and its 2010 remake became a critical and box office success.

Naturally beautiful, Jessica (Dallender) has just settled into New York where she, like many other young women, is trying to make it as a model. But what starts out as an innocent and simple photo shoot soon turns into something disturbingly unthinkable! Raped, tortured and kidnapped to a foreign country, Jessica is buried alive and left to die. Against all odds, she manages to escape. Severely injured, she will have to tap into the darkest places of the human psyche to not only survive, but to exact her revenge…

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
