Ladies take control in two new ‘Thor: The Dark World’ posters

Marvel’s promotional material for Thor: The Dark World continues, and today see’s the release of two new posters showing off the girls in Thor’s life.

We get Natalie Portman as Jane looking sexy, seductive and ready for a good punch up, and also Jaimie Alexander as the warrior Sif. Now, in case you’re wandering why the warrior outfit for Jane, in the new film she joins Thor in Asgard, but those reasons might be spoilery. Best to just enjoy two very attractive ladies gracing two new posters rather than the dominant male posters we have already seen!

Directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), the sequel will see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) battling against the villainous dark elf Malekith The Accured (Christopher Eccleston).

The film also also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.

Thor: The Dark World is due for release on 30th October 2013

Synopsis:

Marvels “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvels “Thor” and “Marvels The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.
