Schwarzenegger and Stallone square off in new clip for action film Escape Plan

The first clip for director Mikael Hafstrom’s action film, Escape Plan, has been released, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. Check it out below including some new images.

Stallone stars as Ray Breslin, the world’s foremost authority on structural security. Breslin is framed and incarcerated in a prison of his own master design, and must escape in order to find out who framed him and why.  Schwarzenegger plays a fellow inmate and accomplice in the jailbreak.

In the clip, we see Stallone and Schwarzenegger square off against each other as they intentionally start a jail fight. It also contains the good old comedy style we previously saw in actions films from the 80s and 90s.

The film also stars Jim Caviezel, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Amy Ryan.

Escape Plan is due for release on 27th September.

Escape Plan follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.

Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.
