James Wan produced ‘House of Horror’ now retitled ‘Demonic’

The last update we had on James Wan produced horror, House of Horror, was that Frank Grillo had joined the cast, and that the film was now untitled. That was back in January, so you would be forgiven for forgetting the film ever existed.

However, finally some news has dropped regarding the “James Wan presents” horror flick, and thanks to Desde Hollywood, it has now been confirmed that the film, written by Wan, will be called Demonic. Wan directed his final horror film with Insidious: Chapter Two, so Demonic, I am guessing, will be his last horror production, and the film is due for release next year. Demonic is currently in post-production.

Demonic is directed by Will Canon (Brotherhood) and written and produced by James Wan. The cast includes Maria Bello, Frank Grillo, Cody Horn, Scott Mechlowicz, Aaron Yoo, Megan Park and Dustin Milligan.

The film centers on the aftermath of a horrific massacre: five college students, brutally murdered inside a decrepit, abandoned home. Fresh on the scene, detective Mark Lewis and the police department’s psychologist, Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Bello), question one of the few survivors who explains they were amateur ghost-hunters, seeking out paranormal phenomenon at the abandoned house, believed to be haunted. But what started out as a harmless activity turned into something truly terrifying, and the suspect claims the responsibility doesn’t lie with any of the inhabitants, but with the house itself.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
