This week, it was announced that Ty Simpkins (Insidious; Insidious: Chapter Two) had signed on to play the lead young actor in director Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, the fourth in the Jurassic Park franchise, and King of Summer’s Nick Robinson has also been confirmed.
Attention has now focused on one of the film’s major adult roles and Josh Brolin is reportedly in early negotiations to star in one of the most anticipated films of 2015. Details regarding the character are unknown but if Brolin took the part, it would more than likely be a lead role.
There are also rumours that New Girl star Jake Johnson is in talks to join the film, which would reunite him with Trevorrow (they worked together on Safety Not Guaranteed). Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help; The Village) is also in negotiations.
All we know for sure is that Colin Trevorrow is directing, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are starring, Frank Marshall is producing and Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) have written the script.
Jurassic World will arrive in cinemas June 12th 2015 in 3D.
