Marvel have released a new clip from the soon to be released Thor: The Dark World, and the clip showcases the influence director Alan Taylor has over the film.
Taylor directed Game of Thrones, and is perfectly suited to be directing battle scenes like the one below, and the forty second clip features plenty of swords and sandals style fighting, with some cool special effects thrown in for good measure. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) makes one hell of an entrance too!
Directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), the sequel will see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) battling against the villainous dark elf Malekith The Accured (Christopher Eccleston).
The film also also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, and Anthony Hopkins.
Thor: The Dark World is due for release on 30th October 2013
