Exciting news today is that may might be getting a glimpse at director Christopher Nolan’s new film, Interstellar incredibly soon!!!
It’s been reported by The Film Stage that the debut trailer will be shown on the screenings of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, which is due to open in cinemas on 13th December.
The trailer is due to last for 1 minute and 43 seconds but I wouldn’t expect to see a great deal of footage as the film is still in production. The trailer will probably follow that of the first teaser for Inception which was vague, had a few shots to get us all excited and mostly featured intriguing graphics and pounding music, which left us wanting more!!!! Although, the Inception first teaser was only 1 minute long, so it’ll be interesting to see what Nolan features in this first look for Interstellar!!
Plot details for the film are still pretty vague with the only synopsis available being that the script “chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.” According to the Interstellar movie website, the film is “Mainly based on the scientific theories and script treatment of renowned theoretical physicist, Kip Thorne.”
The film stars Matthew McConaughey,Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Matt Damon, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Ellen Burstyn, and Michael Caine.
Interstellar is due for release on 7th November 2014.
