Three new images have been released for Spike Lee’s Oldboy, plus a new green-band trailer. The images can be seen above and below, and Josh Brolin features in two of them as Joe Doucett, a man imprisoned for twenty years, set free and desperate for answers.
Elizabeth Olsen appears in one picture as Marie, while Sharlto Copley is barely recognisable as the villain Adrian Pryce. Also included here is a new green-band trailer. Almost identical to the red-band trailer, there is a clear lack of violence here, but a very small amount of added footage and dialogue to make up for it.
Spike Lee directs the remake which is based on Park Chan-wook’s second film in his superb ‘Vengeance Trilogy’ (starting with Sympathy For Mr Vengeance and ending with Lady Vengeance). The cast includes Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson and Sharlto Copley.
Oldboy arrives in US cinemas 27th November, and in UK cinemas 6th December.

His quest for revenge leads him into an ill-fated relationship with a young social worker (Elizabeth Olsen) and ultimately to an elusive man (Sharlto Copley) who allegedly holds the key to his salvation.
