If you are a horror fan, chances are you love Clive Barker’s Hellraiser, and while some of the sequels can be a bit hit and miss, director Tony Randel’s Hellbound: Hellraiser 2, was an ambitious, and quite brilliant piece of work. Both films are horror classics, with Barker’s first film often making horror top ten lists.
Pinhead and his Cenobites became one of the most feared, and worshiped villains of the horror genre, so news that a new documentary is on the way about both films, has made the HCF team very excited indeed. Horror documentary’s are becoming more and more popular, with A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Never Sleep Again, Friday the 13th’s Crystal Lake Memories and also the endless Video Nasty documentaries all finding a place in horror fans hearts. No doubt Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 will do the same.
