Director David Ayer has shared some images from his new World War II film, Fury. Check them out below.
Starring Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf, the story is set in 1945 as the Nazi regime begins to collapse, revolving around a five-man crew battling against a desperate German army in an American tank named “Fury”.
The set photos are visually intriguing and I’m looking forward to seeing more of what this film will give. I loved his previous film End of Watch, which was gritty and left a lasting memory afterwards, particularly through the development of the characters. So if Fury is anything like that, I’m sure it’ll be equally as impressive.
Also starring are Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena, and Jason Isaacs.
Fury is due for release on 14th November 2014.
FURY is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
