Jose Padilha’s Robocop remake revealed its first trailer a little over a month ago, and the results were mixed. Personally, I thought it looked pretty good, although the violent, chaotic and anarchic tone of Paul Verhoeven’s classic was lost. I felt the new trailer felt too polished, too clean and a little too accessible.
Well, a second trailer is due to drop this Thursday, so fingers crossed this will be an improvement. In the meantime, four new images have been released for the remake, and all four promote the US release date for the film. The final image serves as a count down of sorts to the new trailer.
