Jennifer Blanc-Biehn’s second film as director, The Girl, has finally revealed its first teaser trailer, and its a rather unsettling experience. Married with totally out of place but effective music, some dark comedy and Michael Biehn acting batshit crazy, this is a promising first tease for the new horror, so count me excited!
The film stars Evie Louise Thompson (The Call) in the title role, Michael Biehn (Terminator), Tia Carrere (True Lies, “In Plain Sight”), Dana Daurey (Among Friends), Nick Nicholson (Hidden in the Woods), Raven Carrell, Jenise Blanc, Lorraine Ziff (Among Friends), Tanya Newobould (Among Friends), Hallie Jordan (To the Bridge; producer of the upcoming The Art of Perception and Hidden in the Wood), and introducing Tristan DeVan as Tommy.
Synopsis:
The Girl is a harrowing tale of a kidnapped girl who is rescued by a young boy and in return is compelled to save him from the horrors that lie in his home.
