While there are still plenty of tears flowing thanks to the demise of Breaking Bad, there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel due to the impending spin off Better Call Saul……
Its been announced that Netflix, who give Britain the only chance to watch Breaking Bad over these shores, is to air the the brand new show on its service straight after its broadcast in the US.
Ted Sarandos who is Netflix’s chief content officer (cool title) had this to say…..
“Breaking Bad is widely recognised as one of the great TV experiences in this new golden age of television
“It has also proven very popular with Netflix subscribers around the world. This spin-off promises to continue its tradition of powerful storytelling.
“We are proud to be in business with Sony Pictures Television to bring Saul Goodman to our subscribers around the world.”
The spin off will focus on lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) a few years before he became involved with the now infamous Walter White.
The show is created by the original Breaking Bad master Vince Gilligan and its one of the most hotly anticipated TV Show waiting to arrive…..
