Watch this! Amer directors cut together some of Dario Argento’s finest moments!

In his heyday, Italian master of horror, Dario Argento, was untouchable. Being one of the driving forces of the classic Italian Giallo (a genre which is having a bit of a resurgence), it makes sense that the directors of Amer, The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears and the ABCs of Death segment, O Is For Orgasm, would put together a video of Argento’s work.

They have done so, in fine style, for the French channel Arte. Directors Bruno Forzani and Helene Cattet have presented a four minute montage of clips from Argento’s greatest work. Film like Suspiria, Tenebrae and Opera are all here in a really great four minute video of what makes the Giallo genre, and Argento himself, so essential to horror fans.

So, if you like rain, smashed glass, eyeballs, people hovering on glass, black gloved killers, knives and razor blades, brutal deaths and tortures and lots of girls screaming, then you have come to the right place!

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
