While we still have a looong wait for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, the very first teaser poster has already landed! This time the Mockingjay bird is looking rather pleased with itself, with wings outstretched and a sense of winning being felt. Naturally the two part finale can only get worse for Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) before it gets better, but the teaser poster is a sign that she might be starting to get a sense of winning.

Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as Katniss opposite Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta in the final two franchise sequels. Julianne Moore also joined the cast as Alma Coin along with Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Lily Rabe, Patina Miller, and Wes Chatham, Robert Knepper and Elden Henson.

Francis Lawrence is back to direct the third and fourth installments of the global blockbuster HUNGER GAMES franchise, slated for release in November 2014 and November 2015, respectively.

Synopsis:

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss’ family, not her friends, not the people of District 12. Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final installment of Suzanne Collins’ groundbreaking The Hunger Games trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
