Gal Gadot signs three movie deal with Warners as Wonder Woman

A few months ago Fast and the Furious star Gal Gadot signed on to play Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s upcoming, and as yet untitled, Batman vs Superman. Some fans were not happy about this, but check out the image below and tell me you are going to have a problem watching Gadot on screen in a skimpy, tight fitting Wonder Woman outfit!

The sexy Israeli actress has now signed on for a further two films for Warner Brothers as Wonder Woman, putting her contract as Princess Diana of Themyscira to three films.

The first time she will appear will be in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel follow up, Batman vs Superman, and now it has been revealed exactly when she will be seen again. Gadot will appear as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League movie, and also her very own stand-alone movie.

The Israeli entertainment show “Good Evening with Gai Pines” reported that Gadot will earn $300,000 per film.

A three film contract is quite small for the world of superhero’s (Marvel contracts usually begin at six films), but it seems Warners are planning on playing it safe with Wonder Woman as the character has never quite managed the popularity heights of other DC heroes.

Variety confirmed the three movie deal, stating “Limiting the deal to three pictures makes sense for Warners, since the studio still doesn’t know how auds will react to Wonder Woman in the untitled Batman-Superman movie. Since its taken so long to find the right parts to make a Wonder Woman movie work, WB and DC don’t want to rush into a large commitment if fans are still not drawn to a standalone movie featuring the character”

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
