Super Bowl Sunday is coming, and with it comes a barrage of TV spots, trailers and clips from the years biggest films. Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is guaranteed to be one of the bigger films this year, and proof of just how big it will be comes from the fact that this film actually gets its own sort of teaser trailer for its Super Bowl trailer, its that special you see!
Released by Sony last night, here we get to see half of their Super Bowl trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and naturally tease us at the end saying “find out what happens next on Sunday”. Check out the half trailer below.
The sequel to last year’s critical and box office hit The Amazing Spider-Man, the film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Sarah Gadon, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Chris Cooper and Sally Field.
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
The latest chapter in the Spider-Man story is set for release in 3D on 18th April 2014 in the UK and 2nd May in the U.S.
