The latest trailer has arrived for Divergent, the film expected to be the next Hunger Games. Summit released the trailer as the release date for Neil Burger’s adaptation gets closer.

The trailer is the most thrilling yet, and while I am still not 100% convinced, I can happily admit to being rather intrigued. The action looks good, there is plenty of story and heavy drama and the tattoos are impressive! Check out the new trailer below.

The film, directed by Neil Burger (Limitless), take place in the future where people live in a society that is divided into factions based on their personalities. Tris doesn’t fit into any of the factions and is labelled as a Divergent, and learns of a conspiracy to destroy all who are labelled as such.

The film stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, Jai Courtney, Ashley Judd, Tony Goldwyn, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, Ansel Elgort, Christian Madsen, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Ben Lamb, and Amy Newbold.

Divergent is due for release on 21 March 2014.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
