The Pact director heads ‘Home’ with new supernatural horror, first images released

Director Nicholas McCarthy’s The Pact was one of the best horror films of 2012, and I have been waiting impatiently to see what the talented director comes up with next.

The wait is almost over as McCarthy’s new supernatural horror, Home, is set for its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in March. Home will screen on March 9th, 11th and 14th.

The first three stills from the film have just been released to promote the films world premiere, and you can see the images above and below.

Home is written and directed by Nicholas McCarthy, and the cast includes Naya Rivera, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Ashley Rickards, Wyatt Russell, and Ava Acres.

When ambitious young real estate agent LEIGH is asked to sell a house with a checkered past, she crosses paths with a disturbed girl whom she learns is the runaway daughter of the couple selling the property. When Leigh tries to intervene and help her, she becomes entangled with a supernatural force that soon pulls Leigh’s artist sister VERA into its web — and has sinister plans for both of them.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
