I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Always Sometimes Monsters and The Witcher

  1. Not strictly a ‘film’, but Breaking Bad. Because he rides a tortoise as a decapitated head, and still looks like a badass!

  2. My favorite Danny Trejo movie was the first machete as he plays a craggy ex-lawman with a tragic past, with coolness and laconic Presence through out the film 8)

  3. Its got to be Machete. Whats not to love about this film, he swings through a window using a guys innards and gets all the women. Total hero.

    • actually to add to that its also one of the best movie twists ive ever seen, i hadnt watched a trailer beforehand so never expected it to go like it did! awesome 🙂

  4. So many cool Danny Trejo movies to choose from…. but Machete is my favourite. I love his scowly face and his novel use of intestines. Classic.

  5. From Dusk Til Dawn – genuinely terrifying. To the point that I cheered when years later in Breaking Bad his head would end up on a tortoise…

  6. First Machete, action packed cheese, but luckily I love cheese lol its got everything, action, gratuitous violence, humour, love 😛 xx

  7. Machete apart…it’s Dusk ‘Til Dawn for me too. I first saw this film in a slightly inebriated condition without any pre knowledge of it’s plot or content and the way it jumped from semi-normal heist/kidnap movie to all out Vampire killing hell was one of the truly mind blowing, brain f*cks I’ve experienced….sorry for the language 😉 I can’t look at Danny now without having weird, almost hypnotic flashbacks!

  8. I love the original Machete, is funny and takes the mick out of himself and the genre whilst producing a really good movie. I also liked his part in Spy Kids, grumpy uncle cut off from the family, comes to the rescue!

  9. From dusk til dawn, its a great movie and i love the way it changes half way throught the movie to become a horror movie (which i love). Danny Trejo is one of the great cast in it!

  10. From Dusk Till Dawn
What a movie I love Danny Trejo movies I could watch them all day. I know quite a few other people have said Dusk till dawn but this is genuinally my favourite movie. I have watched it like 5 times now
