Check out this week’s newest downloadable offerings on Nintendo platforms available from 20/03/2014:

This week also sees new additions to the Virtual Console:

Castlevania (Konami) – NES – Castlevania marked the beginning of Konami’s acclaimed series which is still going strong today. As vampire hunter Simon Belmont, you must fight your way through Dracula’s castle teeming with ghosts, goblins, demons and yet more supernatural creatures; through six challenging levels to finally confront the count. You’ll need your wits and weapons to survive; because when you finally meet Dracula, you know he’ll be going for the jugular. So keep your courage up and your stake sharp!

Castlevania (this is the US version of the game) will be available through the Wii U Virtual Console for £3.59.

Devil World (Nintendo)  – In this hidden gem of an action game from Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, you play heroic dragon Tamagon, who must defeat evil by collecting boa-boa dots inside a maze and destroying enemies with his fire breath. However, keep an eye on the devil at the top of the screen, who instructs his minions to move the maze in random directions, trying to squash Tamagon within its walls!

Devil World will be available on the 3DS Virtual Console for £3.59

In addition to the new titles, the eshop will also be holding a sale on all Shin’en Multimedia titles.

The Wii U sees Nano Assault Neo, priced at £6.70 down from the regular price of £8.99, and there are three titles reduced on the 3DS eshop, Nano Assault Ex (£6.35), Art of Balance TOUCH! (£4.70) and Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai (£5.70), are all reduced until 10/04/14.

Also on sale are Mutant Mudds (£5.39 until 03/03/14), Angry Bunnies (£4.49 until 17/04/14) and Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey (£3.35 until 17/04/14).

Finally, the 3DS eshop sees a permanent price reduction on My Exotic Farm (Bigben Interactive), which is now priced at £6.29 (previously £19.99).
