Destruction and a stalking robot appear in new ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ IMAX poster

A new IMAX poster has been released by Paramount for Michael Bay’s latest Transformers movie, Age of Extinction. In true Bay fashion, the rather sinister poster features a giant robot stalking the streets, while chaos and destruction goes on behind him, and an enormous ship hovers in the distance.

The poster is very effective, and very Transformer-ish in Bay’s world of big, epic action. I have also included a reminder of the official trailer which was released a week ago.

Transformers: Age of Extinction is directed by Michael Bay, and written by Ehren Kruger.  The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller and Li Bingbing.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will arrive in cinemas on 10th July 2014.

As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
