SXSW: The Last Exorcism directors ’13 Sins’ remake debuts gruesome trailer

If you have not seen the original Thai film, 13: Game of Death, then I would suggest checking that out first before watching this remake. However, Daniel Stamm (The Last Exorcism) appears to have done a good job in remaking such a brilliant and nasty little film based on the trailer premiere.

Originally called Angry Little God, the now re-titled 13 Sins will have its world premiere at the South by Southwest film festival tomorrow, and the first trailer for the film can be seen below.

13 Sins is written and directed by Daniel Stamm, with David Birke co-writing. The cast includes Ron Perlman, Mark Webber, Devon Graye, Richard Burgi, Tom Bower, Rutina Wesley and Pruitt Taylor Vince.

A cryptic phone call sets off a dangerous game of risks for Elliot, a down-on-his luck salesman. The game promises increasing rewards for completing 13 tasks, each more sinister than the last.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
