Ten new images have been released from Wolf Creek 2, the highly anticipated sequel directed by Greg Mclean. You will find the images below, along with the recently released US poster for the brutal new horror.

Here in the UK we still wait for Wolf Creek 2 to have its date confirmed, but Image Entertainment have confirmed that the sequel will arrive on VOD on April 17th, followed by a theatrical run from May 16th!

Original helmer and writer Greg Mclean returns to the sequel along with John Jarratt, who plays the film’s original antagonist. Shannon Ashlyn, Ryan Corr, and Phillipe Klaus also co-star.

The sequel to the smash box office hit, WOLF CREEK 2 reunites viewers with the Australian Outback and the film’s murderous bushman. The Outback once more becomes a place of horror as another unwitting tourist becomes the prey for crazed, serial-killing pig-shooter Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).

WOLF CREEK 2 is co-written by Greg Mclean and Aaron Sterns and produced by Helen Leake, Steve Topic, and Mclean.

Synopsis:

Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, backpackers Rutger, Katarina, and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. Their dream Outback adventure soon becomes an horrific reality when they encounter the site’s most infamous local, the last man any traveler to the region ever wants to meet: Mick Taylor (John Jarratt).

As the backpackers flee, Mick pursues them on an epic white-knuckled rampage across hostile wasteland. Only one will remain to be dragged back to his lair to witness the true magnitude of his monstrosity. And if the last man standing is to have any hope of surviving where no one else has survived before, he’ll have to use every ounce of cunning to outwit the man behind the monster and become every bit as ruthless as the monster inside the man.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
