Last October the first NSFW trailer dropped for a new horror thriller called Schism, and it was very impressive. Directed by Adam Gierasch (Fertile Ground, Autopsy, Night of the Demons) and heavily promoting Vinnie Jones in the cast, Schism looked really good, and early festival reviews gave it plenty of praise.
Now the film has had a named change and is now called Fractured, and will land in US cinemas and on VOD on April 11th, courtesy of Seven Arts Entertainement’s horror label, Dark Arts. No dates have been confirmed for the UK yet.
With the confirmed released date comes a nightmarish new trailer, check it out below.
Fractured is written and directed by Adam Gierasch with Jace Anderson also writing (both paired up for Autopsy, Night of the Demons) and the cast includes Callum Blue (“Smallville”), Vinnie Jones (Snatch, Midnight Meat Train), and Ashlynn Yennie (The Human Centipede).
Dylan White leads an easy, if unambitious life: He has a good job that doesn’t require much thought and a girlfriend who wants only so much commitment. The world doesn’t demand much of him and he’s okay with that…until terrifying experiences intrude upon his everyday life. Are they visions, nightmares, glimpses into another world? Forced onto a journey of self-discovery that takes him into the seedy underbelly of crime-ridden New Orleans, Dylan discovers that his life is not what it seems.
