Scott Adkins (The Expendables 3) stars as Casey Bowman, who returns home one day to find someone has brutally killed his wife Namiko (Mika Hijii) and their unborn child. Bereft, Casey has only one thing left to live for… Revenge.

The only clues to Namiko’s killer are the barbed wire marks left around her neck. So, with the help of his trusted friend Nakabara (Kane Kosugi), the trail sends Casey from Osaka to Bangkok to the jungles of Rangoon in search of the assassin. Honing his battle skills to a new level, Casey is as discreet as he is deadly, as he becomes a warrior that truly deserves the title Ninja.

  1. tom cruise because he does a lot of his own stunts which most of the action stars do not do,they get a stunt double to do the action scenes

  2. Male would be Jackie Chan because of ‘Rush Hour’ and Female would be Angelina Jolie for ‘Tomb Raider’

  3. Bruce Willis. in Die Hard was fabulous, never seen him better and his catchphrase Yippee Ki-Ay M*****F*****S was a brilliant touch.

  4. Brandon Lee in the Crow because I cant think of another actor who quotes Edgar Allan Poe and then shoots someone!

  5. i like jason statham he must have a good fight scene choreographer because he always looks good in fighting scenes exspecially in the transporter films and expendables

  6. pierre kirby. if his name is on the credits…you are guaranteed a good time. a bad film, but a good time.

  7. Hard to pick just one, so emm I think living action star would be Jet Li, although I do still have a soft spot for Bruce Lee,why I hear you ask? because he’s Bruce Lee that’s why!!!

  8. Daniel Craig – For encompassing the physical strain of an action hero in a realistic and contemporary way

  9. bruce willis it doesnt matter what film he appears in.just the fact that he’s in it. you just know its going to be a action packed good film the man is a legend .and he never seems to age.

  10. Jean Claude Van Damme not just an actor but a true athlete and fighter kickboxer, blood sport, universal soldier the list goes on

  11. Chuck Norris. Loved the Missing in Action films, although makes me feel old when I realise how long ago they were made!!
    😳 😳 😳

  12. Jason Statham – if you want someone to strip to the waist and fight on a motor oil slick with bike pedals on his feet, look no further than The Stath.

  13. Has to be Arnold Schwarzenegger! He is the greatest action hero of all time and not just beacuse he looks the part! His films from pure action (commando, true lies) to sci fi (terminatir, total recall and predator) arent just good action films but good films and his presence and personality make him always worth watching

  14. Has to be Jackie Chan. The guy is a proper hard man, not just an actor pretending. He does all his own stunts, and broken every bone in his body doing it – almost killed himself one more than one occasion too. Proper, proper hard-man. Hats off to him.
