‘Jurassic World’ rumour: Awesome new Dinosaur will take on all comers in Dino-on-Dino action!

With filming getting underway, we are still unclear as to what exactly is going to happen in Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World. All we know for sure is that the film takes place on a new an island theme park which will feature living Dinosaurs, and takes place 22 year after the events of the first film. Trevorrow has also promised animatronic Dinosaurs.

Now, while the information we have for you below has not been confirmed, it does sound pretty awesome, and I like where this is heading.

JoBlo uncovered some juicy plot details from an insider on the film, and here is what they revealed (please note that the following information is spoilery, so don’t read on if you are looking to know nothing about the film).

Jurassic World will be the name of the theme park on the island, and it is here where things go wrong. Over ambitious park bosses decide to splice Dinosaur DNA with other species. One particularly successful T-Rex / raptor / snake / cuttlefish hybrid gets loose and begins terrorizing the park. However, it sounds like Jurassic World has both good and bad Dinosaurs, and the good fellas battle the bad Dinosaurs, much like Godzilla or even Pacific Rim to some extent.

According to our source, there will be lots of Dino on Dino fighting, as some of the Dinos are “good guys” that are trained by Chris Pratt’s character. The raptors and T-Rex are among the “trained” good dinosaurs. The big bad dinosaur has instant camouflage abilities, like the cuttlefish, so he blends into the background, is smart like the velociraptor, uses his jaw like a snake, and can terrorize like the T-Rex. Does this mean the new dino will be the ONLY “bad” one? Or will there be more than one? Unconfirmed, but it will be the catalyst that kicks off the peril”

Colin Trevorrow directs and co-wrote Jurassic World with Derek Connolly based on an existing script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The cast is led by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who are joined by youngsters Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer) and Ty Simpkins (Insidious). Vincent D’Onofrio and Irrfan Khan also star. BD Wong (Jurassic Park) is the only actor from the franchise to be making a return.

Jurassic World will arrive in cinemas June 12th 2015.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
