I love prosthetic effects, stop-motion animation and gore, but most of all I love a good story! I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: Always Sometimes Monsters and The Witcher

  1. The house in Up. Wouldn’t it be amazing to be in a flying house even for 1 night? The view would simply be stunning

  2. I would love to stay in the house from the 1986 movie House. The place had more activity and portals into the supernatural realms than any haunted house I have seen on screen. It would be cool to experience all that in such a horror-ish sort of way that wouldn’t be all that life threatening but still managed some thrills and chills.

  3. I’d like to spend the night at the Overlook Hotel in Colorado. Seriously, seriously scary! (Doubt I’d get much sleep).

  4. I would have loved to stayed in Howl’s moving CASTLE! It would be amazing to open a door to a different city, or a different door to a different city.! :3

  5. The house from the Amityville Horror as it’s fascinated me since I was a kid & I’d like to see how a family can live in it now after the murders

  6. Ooh there are so many greats but House on Haunted Hill is probably the creepiest, there’s just something about abandoned mental asylums…

  7. Oakley Court, Windsor , UK (now used as a hotel)
Films include The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), The House in Nightmare Park, Brides of Dracula, The Curse of Frankenstein, Plague of the Zombies, and many others. Not for the horror or the movies made there but just because of its wonderful architecture, the massive grounds and riverbank setting, the indoor swimming pool, and boat rides on the river, living like a king even if only for one day/night.

  8. Mary’s house in New Orleans in Dracula 2000 because it looks an interesting house. Oh, and maybe Gerard Butler would come to visit….

  9. mine would be Nancy’s house form a nightmare on elm street coz that’s where its going down haha 🙂

  10. I am a big Coward at heart and although I love scary movies I would not want to stay in a scary house so the one I would choose is the house from 1001 Dalmations,I adore dogs and it was a lovely house so I would be in my element

  11. I’d love to stay in the Beetlejuice house 🙂 It would be hilarious and I could do the thflying bit that Winona Ryder does at the end of the movie lol

  12. The house from atonement. Well I suppose it’s a mansion really. Flippin beautiful. But probably quite creepy at night…. and with some pretty bad memories

  13. Eel Marsh House in the movie Woman in Black, I’d love to explore those spooky rooms, and even spookier grounds.

  14. Castle Dracula – into creepy castles and “normal” (one that don’t go out in sunlight or glow) Vampires. 🙂

  15. The Dakota apartment building from Rosemary’s Baby, I still love that film even after all these years1

  16. I would love to spend a night at The White House from many films, White House Down etc. I’d get Barack O’Bama to tuck me in! x

  17. tony montana’s mansion from scarface. full of mountains of cash and coke and inspired every footballer’s interior decorator. yeah mang.

  18. The house that the Woman in Black lives in. I’ll sort her out big time for doing what Lord Valdermort couldn’t do in seven movies and that’s bump off Harry P. 😉

  20. I’d have to say the cabin from Evil Dead. It must have 50 corridors and there’s even a cellar to keep my wine.

  21. I think the house in “Amityville” would be an in interesting stay! Make sure you ignore the voices telling you to “GET OUT”!

  22. Eel Marsh House from The Woman in Black. I can’t think of a scarier place to spend the night than in that house, cut off from the mainland!

  23. michael myers in halloween…probably pooped myself but i was get over the fear of him even at 32 im terrified of him and watching him lol.

  24. I would love to go to Eel Marsh House (the house where Woman in Black was set), in Northamptonshire. So atmospheric and chilling ….

  25. The House/Castle from Rocky Horror Picture Show. It looks like a fasciniating property and I would love to meet all the characters.

  26. The overlook Hotel, The whole place looked creepy and would love to experience the maze in the garden!

  27. I would love to stay in the House from Home Alone. It’s a fab home and if I had the money I would love a house like that

  28. Has to be the hotel from The Shining. Although not exactly a house, at least you’d be entertained all night with evil twins. I’d probably create more havoc for them than they would with me.

  29. 112 Ocean Avenue the Amityville house is an all time dream house to spend the night and see if there is anything haunting about it i have seen and own everything Amityville and just to stay there would be amazing.

  30. I’d love to stay in the Cullens house in Twlight – that is an awesome house with amazing scenery

  31. i love bates motel so would love to stay at the bates home from psycho. i love the eerieness of the house

  32. The house from Psycho, because I’d sort out the freaky bitch Norman, chuck him out of the house and move in myself!

  33. I prefer to watch my horrors (from the safety of my own sofa), rather than live them! So, I’d probably pick something really sad like Bilbo Baggings underground hut!

  34. I would like to live in one of the Hobbitt houses with circular doors and curving walls to embrace me

  35. The house in Poltergeist looked quite comfortable to live in apart fro what it was built on.hey ho.

  36. The house in People Under the Stairs. Who wouldn’t want to investigate that basement and those walls 🙂
