New TV Spot for Final Collection of WALLANDER Films

Ahead of the DVD box set release on 23rd June 2014, Arrow Films’ Nordic Noir label has today unveiled a new TV spot for the last ever collection of WALLANDER films.

Starring the legendary Krister Henriksson, who appears as Kurt Wallander, the show kicked-off the UK’s love of Scandinavian television when it first aired on BBC Four in 2008.

Wallander was the channel’s first major Scandinavian import. It started a chain-reaction that has seen the genre become one of the most talked about in TV culture. Following in Wallander’s footsteps were shows such as The Killing, Borgen and The Bridge, all of which have won BAFTAs and enjoyed record viewing figures.

Based on the best-selling books by Swedish writer Henning Mankell, Wallander is an intense and headstrong maverick, prone to eating poorly, sleeping irregularly and drinking too much.

I adore B-movies and exploitation films in many of their guises and also have a soft spot for creature features. I review a wide range of media including movies, TV series, books and videogames. I'm a massive fan of author Hunter S. Thompson and I enjoy various genre of videogames with Kingdom Hearts and Harvest Moon two of my all time favs. Currently playing: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Yakuza Zero and Webbed.
