Rik Mayall Fans Aim To Get His World Cup Song NOBLE ENGLAND to No1 in UK Music Charts

Earlier this week, comedian and actor Rik Mayall sadly passed away at age 56. Thousands of his fans, including us, took to social media outlets to share their sadness at losing such a talented entertainer. Many also shared their fondest memories of his work, including his stint as Lord Flashheart in Blackadder, Richard Richard in Bottom and Rick in The Young Ones.

To celebrate Rik Mayall’s life and career, fans have joined together to get his World Cup song from 2010 in the UK music charts, hopefully to No. 1.

When originally released, the track titled ‘Noble England’ failed to chart, but a social media campaign, set up in tribute after his passing earlier this week, has led fans thrusting the single into the Top 10, where it could very well rank in the Top 5 by Sunday’s chart countdown if fans continue to buy, with the aim of taking the coveted top spot.

Noble England is available to purchase on Amazon and iTunes. Let’s help get Rik to No 1!
