Sequel to ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’ still an active project for Millennium

I was quite excited during the build up to Texas Chainsaw 3D, but then I was the God awful film and wished I have never seen it. Talk about a way to (nearly) destroy a legacy. It was dire, absolutely terrible, but soon after the films impressive box office performance, a sequel was announced.

That was well over a year ago, and we haven’t really heard anything about the film since. Could it be that reaction to the film has meant someone has seen sense and decided to give the sequel a miss?

Not chance! Bloody Disgusting did some digging, and they got the following response from a rep at Millennium Films:

While the film’s development is taking a bit longer than usual, it is still an active project on Millennium Films’ slate”

So there you have it: whether you want a sequel or not, it certainly appears that it is still happening, so brace yourselves Chainsaw fans, the sequel has not been forgotten. Personally, I think it should be.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
