Trailers: Idris Elba turns nasty in ‘No Good Deed’ plus new ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ trailer


We have two new trailers here for you to enjoy, one full of threat, menace and violence and the other a big action epic with giant robots and mayhem.

First comes the debut trailer for home invasion thriller No Good Deed, which see’s Idris Elba on chilling form. The trailer was exclusively revealed by Digital Spy.

No Good Deed is directed by Sam Miller, and has been written by Aimee Lagos. Idris Elba heads up the cast which also includes Taraji P. Henson, Leslie Bibb, Kate del Castillo and Hery Simmons.

The thriller arrives in UK cinemas October 31st.


Terri (Taraji P. Henson), a devoted wife and mother of two, lives an ideal life that takes a dramatic turn when her home and children are threatened by Colin (Idris Elba), a charming stranger who smooth-talks his way into her house, claiming car trouble. The unexpected invitation leaves her and her family terrorized and fighting for survival.



Transformers: Age of Extinction

A Chinese trailer for Michael Bay’s fourth Transformers movie has also been released, which boasts new footage. The new footage is mostly made up of beltering action, including Optimus Prime riding Grimlock, but this time bellowing “CHAAAARGE!!!

Transformers: Age of Extinction is directed by Michael Bay, and written by Ehren Kruger. The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller and Li Bingbing.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will arrive in cinemas on 5th July 2014.


As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs.
