You don’t wanna cross Denzel Washington in this new ‘The Equalizer’ trailer

Last month the first trailer for The Equalizer, starring Denzel Washington, made its way on-line, but it got pulled again very quickly. Now comes the full length official trailer, which is slightly different to the one that came before (if you managed to catch it).

This new trailer is equally as impressive, and shows Washington back to his Man on Fire persona as he seeks out revenge on those who have done wrong. Washington was born for these roles, and with the film being directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day), there is very little that can go wrong here. Count me very excited!

The Equalizer is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and is written by Richard Wenk. The cast includes Denzel Washington, Melissa Leo, Martin Csokas, Haley Bennett, David Harbour, and Bill Pullman.

The film will arrive in UK cinemas September 26th.

In The Equalizer, Denzel Washington plays McCall, a former black ops commando who has faked his death to live a quiet life in Boston. When he comes out of his self-imposed retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), he finds himself face to face with ultra-violent Russian gangsters. As he serves vengeance against those who brutalize the helpless, McCall’s desire for justice is reawakened. If someone has a problem, the odds are stacked against them, and they have nowhere else to turn, McCall will help. He is The Equalizer.

A keen enthusiast and collector of all horror and extreme films. I can be picky as i like quality in my horror. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be a classic, but as long as it has something to impress me then i'm a fan. I watch films by the rule that if it doesn't bring out some kind of emotive response then it aint worth watching.
