First trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road now online

Mad Max - Comic Con Signing Art

The first trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road has debuted online.

We gave you a break down of the Mad Max Fury Road news that came from San Diego Comic Con yesterday and now the trailer that was shown has arrived online.

The trailer has a hairy Tom Hardy and plenty of car smashing action to delight your eyes. It also gives you a good look at the other key players including Charlize Theron and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. It’s low on plot but high on action and visuals. The costume design, especially the masks, and visual design is looking great with an electrical storm section looking particularly spectacular. It also looks like they’ve gone for a much more physical in camera route to the car action over a high amount of CGI which is always nice to see.

The film is directed by the creator of the original series George Miller so it looks to be in good hands with someone dedicated to the series. He also directed the dancing penguin film Happy Feet but I don’t image there will be much cross over here.

News on the film had gone a bit quiet recently so I was starting to worry but this trailer puts fears to rest; it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Mad Max: Fury Road is out in 2015 and stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Check out the trailer below.
