Latest Statement from SECRET CINEMA Regarding ‘Back To The Future’ Screening

SECRET CINEMA, the team behind the much-anticipated ‘Back To The Future’ screening have released the following statement this morning following last night’s unfortunate cancellation of the first show.

“Secret Cinema and all parties involved have been working urgently through the night to resolve the issues on site. We will issue a fuller statement shortly.”

Former statements are below and a further statement will be issued later today.

Ticket cancellation update:

Thursday 24 July 2014 – “We regret the disappointment we’ve created for those that were meant to be at the show tonight and would like to confirm that all ticket holders can either rebook for another date or receive a full refund for tonight’s performance. We appreciate the great trust you have put in us and we are working diligently through the night to make sure that we can open tomorrow.”

“As most of you know we have proven time and again that we put our hearts into every production. This has been a hugely ambitious endeavor and we are deeply sorry for those of you that planned your weeks around this particular night. We know the effort that goes into attending our events and we understand the utter disappointment you are all feeling. We are truly feeling it too.”

“For those of you that experienced extenuating circumstances, please email us at info@secreticinema.org and let us know if you would like to reschedule for another date or if you would like your ticket to be refunded.”

“We will be in touch at 11am this morning, Friday 25 July, with a further statement for all attending guests.”

Statement from Fabien Riggall:

“We are devastated to have to make this announcement and we appreciate everyone who has made plans for tonight’s event. We are doing everything we possibly can.”
